The entire U.S. Senate has been invited to the White House on Wednesday to receive an important briefing on North Korea.  The meeting was called by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.  The briefing will be presented by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Joseph Dundord and Director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats.

China appears to be putting strong pressure on North Korea to back down. This is a dangerous game that North Korea has played for its entire history.  They push the limits and make irrational military threats and moves that have in recent years been met with what some call “strategic patience”.  According to President Trump, the days of patience are over and called North Korea “a real threat to the world”.  Kim Jong-Un continues to make belligerent statements, and recent imagery indicates that North Korea is in final preparations for another nuclear test.  Read mor
