About Us: Doug Wilson
Lt Col Doug Wilson retired in 2011 from the 117th Air Refueling Wing of the Alabama Air National Guard after a twenty eight year career with the Air Force and Air National Guard.
While in the military, Doug participated in major contingencies including operation Deny Flight, Bosnia; Operation Allied Force, Kosovo and War on Terrorism contingencies including Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Noble Eagle.
His numerous deployments and assignments around the world and personal travel having taken him to the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, South Korea, Iraq, Argentina, Honduras, Mexico, Curacao, Belize, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Guam, Rwanda, Uganda and South Sudan.
He was also certified as a Missions Operations Commander (MOC) for the MQ-1 Predator UAV where he completed 230 missions for Operation Iraqi Freedom and certified as a MOC Instructor Rated Operator(IRO) for the MQ-1.
Doug has been instrumental in expanding the original scope of CTG.
Doug is a graduate of Samford University, Birmingham, AL; Air Force Intelligence School, Lowry AFB; Squadron Officers School, Maxwell AFB; Practical Intelligence Course, St. Joseph, MO; Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB; USAF Special Operations School, Dynamics of International Terrorism, Hulbert, FL, Anti Terrorism Force Protection, Indian Springs, Nevada.
Doug is the Assistant Vice President of Advancement at Samford University.
